On Thursday, February 20, 2025 I arrived at PT ten minutes late due to parking. We started on the elliptical bike and Sha and I started talking as we usually did. If I could leave zero stars I would. I use to go to this gyn/obyn center here but haven’t not been in an awhile since I didn’t need to. Recently found out I’m pregnant so I call to make an appt. It took me 2weeks (was at first just trying get a normal check up before I found out) to actually get someone on the phone no matter what time I called and when I did it was terrible. This place used to be great, but ever since Henry Ford Health took over, it’s been a nightmare. They canceled my urgent appointment twice because they don’t accept Marketplace UnitedHealthcare. Why not tell patients that up front instead of letting me sit in pain for hours in the lobby, only to reschedule me for an appointment you knew wouldn’t be approved? Total waste of time and incredibly frustrating. Horrible experience!
Reminder notifications don’t state the time of the appointment, and you can spend all day trying to get through to someone (offsite) to confirm. Apps and patient portals are completely disjointed and nonsensical (mine has no information on it, doesn’t correlate between ascension facilities). DO NOT COME HERE for a CT Scan, MRI, or X-rays. Do not have any imaging through Ascension Providence. Had a CT scan done, a follow-up for kidney stones. My urologist was told it would take Ascension up to 30 days for them to read them and send them to the office. I went to my follow-up appointment with my urologist today and that's exactly what I was told. So I drove to Providence Ascension, trying to get my records for my doctor to review.
