They asked why would we would go there. Was it because we knew they would not be to busy. My answer was no, we came here because my daughter fell down a fright of stairs, and you were the closest hospital to us! We will not make that mistake again!!
When I first started thinking of having septoplasty I asked for a referral for a doctor who worked out of Henry Ford Macomb. I met with Dr. Robert Deeb at the Lakeside office and liked him immediately. I scheduled my surgery but was a little disappointed when the paperwork arrived stating it would be held at Cottage as I live in northern Macomb. I need not have been. No long wait time my daughter was seen and treated quickly.
I heave came here many of times because they get you in and out never again will I come here I was wondering what smelled so bad in my daughters room there was a puke thing right under the sink where I was sitting buy used and there was a bad sheet full of pee that is beyond nasty I had to stop my daughters own treatment because the nurses where to busy sitting and chatting it’s been 20 mins and I’m still waiting for the doctor to come check her. The dr asked my son (a child) to rate his pain level to having his knee cut off with a chainsaw. My son didn't quite understand the question, and as a result, downplayed the pain he was experiencing. What an incredible lack of bedside manner. When I spoke to the dr about this statement, he said that we would have better care at another hospital. Well, obviously, we had already figured this out. Unbelievable.
