Continuation- Next morning I called for the night nurse to bring me medication for my migraine headache and the cough I have from pneumonia. I haven’t received anything yet and now it is 7:00. Shift change I met the nurses aide at 7:30 when I put on my light. Very pleasant, and asked for pain meds and cough medicine. She just walked in at 8:30, she said she can give me Tylenol “REALLY “. Reminded her of this 4 day continuous pain from the migraine. Help me!
Been here since 11:00 this morning, diagnosed with pneumonia. Given 1 tablet of Norco for muscle pain and 1 breathing treatment. At 6:00 I requested more migraine medication, something for the cough and something for the pain. The day nurse left for the day and did not come back in. The night nurse came in at 7:00 to see what I needed. It is now 8:47pm and I still haven’t received any of the requested medication. What a shame! Will make my way to a different hospital where the patients needs are first.
