The entire staff at this hospital was incredible. They were quick, efficient & kind. Every single person from check in, to triage, to the emergency room nurses and doctors. I had an amazing experience up until the OBGYN on call (DR WRIGHT) walked into my room. My mother in-law passed away at Henry Ford Hospital April 29th 2025. She was on a general floor and it was not adequately staffed with RN's. By time her nurse was able to make their rounds she was unresponsive and not breathing. She aspirated causing her airway to be blocked. Due to the shortage of nurses she was not found in time to survive. Henry Ford will not address the nurse to patient ratio. Until they do I would strongly recommend you taking your loved one's to another hospital.
My grandfather has Alzheimer’s and on a feeding tube and a patient due to an emergency and my family went to visit due and found him with 3rd degree burns on his back. Not only that but the staff was extremely rude
Absolutely the worst experience of my dad's cancer battle to date. Horrible staff organization, meaning there was always a sense of confusion among the staff and they ask us more about what other staff had said rather then refer to a chart or ask their fellow employees. They sent my Dad home way to early and now we are back for him to have an additional surgery.
