Worst endocrinologist I've every experienced. Dr. Chakrala wasn't interested in being a partner so much as being in control of my diabetes. Refused to rewrite prescriptions multiple times, wrote incorrect prescription multiple times. Spoke down to me at every appointment. Office staff and management was also disappointing, every support staff I spoke to was rude when trying to find further answers or reschedule. Horrible office spent months having records and referral that isn’t needed from insurance but is their requirement faxed to them. Dropped off and hand delivered more than once only to be advised that they have none of the stuff I dropped off. So I dropped off again. Watch it be scanned in so it didn’t get “lost” per receptionist. Once processed in the system I could make an appointment. Called a few days later. They have nothing. Now booking out 6 months? I was hopeful to become a patient here after being recently diagnosed with PCOS, especially given the positive reviews and convenient location. Unfortunately, despite multiple attempts to provide my records—including three faxes from my gynecologist and a physical drop-off at the office—I've received inconsistent information from the staff. While the location is clean and the front desk staff is kind and professional, my experience with Dr. Hehar was deeply disturbing. I had inquired about an alternative therapy that had helped my thyroid symptoms in the past, and was asked to schedule an in-person appointment to discuss. From the start of the visit, it was clear Dr. Hehar had no intention of exploring this with me.
