Was a patient there for two weeks this past month for alcohol use disorder. It was a wonderful experience that taught me coping skills, I learned why I drink, and why I can't stop when I start, and the staff there is amazing. Its a great program. I feel like a brand new person coming out of there and would highly recommend it to anyone struggling with substance abuse.
Aftercare planning is trash. 1 on 1 therapy is non-existant. Therapist is cold and onlt has you fill our surveys for Medicare. Therapist is cold and uncaring. They'll clean you our, that's all it is good for. Heavily reliant on 12 steps. Thet dont send you home with medications either.
Came here 3 different times. First time was in 2009 or 2010 and the place was amazing. So many different programs and u actually got to go work out or play kickball out on the field. Food was amazing too. Second time I went a couple of years later and everything took a hit in quality. 3rd time was a joke. So much in disrepair. I told them when I came in that I couldn't take antidepressants or mood stabilizers because they do the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do to me and make me freak out. Me and my family took my uncle there and he was there for a long time and he was still in bad shape and someone let him out to early and now he’s dead
