Was in the ER for colitis, doctor apparently doesn’t know anything about colitis, claims it doesn’t have flare ups and is just a constant thing. I referenced my discharge papers from last month when I was there for the same thing, and says my diagnosis and she then proceeeds to tell me that they pretty much just put anything on the diagnosis. My sister has to attend the ER with my mom. She has to bring her 2 grandkids that she has custody of with her. Today she was told no one under 12 was allowed up there unless they were patients. Was up there today with my mom - mind u I have 2 kids 7 and 8 years old who were being good ! They would not allow the kids back there - the Receptionist whom was on the phone talking crap about us whispering ect cause my mom and her got into it the last time she was up there. While my brother was in the back with my mom there were literally people he knew with kids Smaller kids ! This hospital sucks !! They don’t realize I’m on my own with kids and my mom ! This was pure act of rude and disrespectful service!
I had information about a nurse stealing drugs from the hospital Hydromorphone and Ativan in the bottles with barcodes and everything, I reported this to Brittany, the compliance officer and I let the hospital know they did nothing. Probably why medical errors are the leading cause of death in America depending on what study you look at. I had the drugs in my possession.
