I had an endoscopy done 3 years ago that revealed eosinophils in my esophagus and duodenum. At my 6 week follow up to the procedure (which was way too long b/c I was in terrible pain) I was told about the eosinophils and that they were usually indicative of a food allergy. He suggested I see an allergist and called it a day. He didn't mention to me that I had eoe. He and his team seemed to just want me out of there immediately.
