I had an endoscopy done 3 years ago that revealed eosinophils in my esophagus and duodenum. At my 6 week follow up to the procedure (which was way too long b/c I was in terrible pain) I was told about the eosinophils and that they were usually indicative of a food allergy. He suggested I see an allergist and called it a day. He didn't mention to me that I had eoe. He and his team seemed to just want me out of there immediately. As always, Dr. Ellett is wonderful! - always informs and educates with clear explanations; always patient, always makes treatment plan very very clear.
Was referred to him for follow up after having a colon infection that landed me in the hospital. He was a clear communicator who eased my mind having to have a colonoscopy. The procedure went smoothly and I'd definitely work with him again.
