This is concerning and it bothers me that my husband got canceled twice in a row by his doctor from his appointments. The most recent was less than 24 hours on a Sunday before his Monday A.M appointment. I have taken scheduled time off at work to help my husband attend his appointment. Bottom line, if Bronson canceled patient's appointment in less than 24 hrs, they should provide an alternate doctor to cover the appointment. To me, the current system is disrespectful of the patient schedule!
My brother has been admitted into Bronson Battle Creek numerous times in the last 3 years for an infection that they cannot identify. We have had a few good nurses and doctors, but the majority just don't seem to understand the word empathy anymore. The hospital doctors are changed about every 1-3 days depending on when you are admitted, the nurses are mostly traveling nurses and mostly seem to have a hard time understanding the needs of the patients. This hospital is as bad as its counterpart in Battle Creek. I would not take an animal there to be treated. The ER was filthy, and I don’t mean just not picked up, I mean filthy as in dried fecal matter on the walls of the restroom, litter, and clear signs of lack of cleaning everywhere. People literally passed out on the floor unattended. I have been treated at Borgess and saw NONE of the issues I witnessed at Bronson. Having issues breathing, throat swollen up from allergic reaction. Still told to sit in waiting room for hours. Finally got into regular doctor when I had been there hours and it became morning. I suffered all night breathing when all they had to do was provide something for the allergic reaction. I couldn't even speak. I was told to go to ER if this happened, so much for that. Don't recommend.
Very disappointed in the wait at the emergency room. My son has a fever of 102.3 a dislocated possibly broken shoulder and a concussion sustained for sure at a sports event yet he has waited for hours with preexisting conditions including asthma and autism so it is hard for him to sit still, you think anyone of the staff cared enough. No they are in the back offices laughing sitting still and chatting among one another. One of the worst hospitals BRONSON BATTLE CREEK guaranteed.
They will withhold existing prescriptions if you get a new doctor who won't write it. The doctors inject their shitty political ideas into medical care and think they weald all the power. I have left this practice as of yesterday. Angela Newman was amazing but she left.
Dr siwik has saved my life, I started seeing him with my body and broken needing surgery. He took me on in my worst days, and running test and finding out exactly how he could help me. He listened to all my questions and answered or found out the answers. Now 7 years later I am in better health with Dr. Siwiks knowledge and experience with my determination.
