Watch Out! Watch Out! It's a real shame that we decided to use Highland Mechanical to service our furnace when we were having trouble. The reviews that we read online suggested that they were a trustworthy source; Unfortunately we learned otherwise. sketchy the problem started with the smell of gas around the gas water heater. gas company sent out a tech immediately with a detector. he tested for gas and found levels above normal around the burner upon startup. he left with the diagnosis "intermittent gas to burner without ignition".
