Wish we were more closely related: Luther Calvin fought along side Daniel Boone at end of Revolutionary War, then came West with him past St. Louis, MO and then on into KS.... Really high class materials and design. Calvin is mostly French and then Swiss. How did Belgium get involved?
My first introduction to (Henry) Calvin Fabrics was in 1982 upon my arrival to Northern CA. Inadvertently I went back to Chicago and actually offered the product line (where I worked in 1983 before returning to CA) through a showroom that closed a few years later called Designer's Choice and the fabrics were absolutely beautiful then and now!
This is a great company that employs fantastic people! They care about their customers and employees, alike!!!
