I play the Bud by itself most of the time and every once in a while I'll use the extension, which packs a major punch for volume. I often mic extras, like congas with the additional channel and it simply is the best most portable piece of equipment I've owned ever.
The BUD is the best portable amp in the market. Period. As a profesional guitarist in NYC versatily is a must. Wether it's jazz, blues, rock, pop, country, r&b, hip hop, latin, brazilian, acoustic guitar etc... The BUD amp covers all with amazing power, EQ versatility, tone and weight. Amazing! :)
I have about 7 or 8 amps. Even still have my first amp when I was a kid. Love the sound with my 1964 Gibson L5. Gives me a great tone that I've been looking for a long time. Yes man you could say its a great jazz amp. Keep us all sounding good. Paul A. Shuster
