We recently got married at Pats Peak. The henniker motel was an excellent option as it is located right at the base of the mountain. A few of the rooms smell like chlorine but the are adjacent to the pool. A year before our wedding, I contacted Tim, the owner regarding blocking off the whole hotel (20 rooms) for our guests. He stated I could do that as long as 10 of the rooms were booked for 2 nights. I stated that was not a problem. BEDBUGS! Was not told about them. One of the guests in our party found them. When confronting manager,he (the manager Tim) said the place was infested... The whole place needs to be fumigated. And he still rents out rooms knowing the bedbugs are THERE! Let's get to cleaning. They made our beds, but would expect replacement of filter coffee packs and clean mugs. Had an amazing chat with the owner Tim very nice guy and very hospitable. Room was just what I need to rest and shower. Very close and convenient to get to New England College. Had a great time. Would highly recommend.
I had a wonderful stay at this Motel. It was peaceful with gorgeous scenery. Tim was very personable and quite knowledgeable of the area. My son enjoyed the pool. I loved how quiet it was. It's a great place to relax and recharge! Might make a nice winter trip!
