I've been on Hennepin Health insurance for going on 4 months now. They don't seem to care that I need my medication as I have been waiting for almost 2 months for insurance approval. If I didn't need the medication for my extremely high blood pressure because of previous stroke, I could understand, but obviously it's needed. I'm not asking for the medicine because I want it. HH would rather see you dead than help you. Prescribed meds? Nah, you don't need them. And if you do need them, you have to wait inhuman amounts of time between refills. I'm so close to just giving up and going without these life altering meds, which is exactly what it feels like they want me to do. I don't feel helped. I feel like a burden. Is that really how you want your customers to feel? DO BETTER.
This review is directed at Hennepin Health and Hennepin County in general. I, along with another individual, have experienced the county approving our health coverage renewals, documents and all, and had assigned us health coverage plans. However the county did not forward our proofs of renewal to the State as is protocol, now both I and a stranger are facing losing our insurance if we do not provide our annual income docs to the state.
