Had good care after the I-35W Bridge went down and fractured 4 vertebrae and 2 ribs fractured lumber spine. Mild TBI, and one deep cut elbow and scraps and bruises big time.
Best qualified staff. While being unconscious, I didn't get to choose my medically required EMT and ambulance service provider. But I found HCMC has the most qualified EMT staff available, and didn't let me die before getting to the ER. I thought that was worth five star's for not killing me while in their care. Even advised my attending physician on the manufacturer's operational parameters of a new medical diagnostic piece of equipment being used while I was in transport. Not dead, no foolish complaints.
