Dr. Heng saved my life, and I don't use those words lightly! She is an amazing doctor and human. I struggled for more than 15 years with an undiagnosed GI illness that made it so I couldn't eat anything without pain and intense sickness. My 30 year old daughter-in-law died on June 1, 2023 after being gaslit by Kaiser doctors over the course of months. Kaiser and Dr. Heng convinced my daughter-in-law that her stomach pain was a psychiatric issue, accused her of smoking too much "weeds" and diagnosed her with constipation, while overlooking her extreme weight loss and lab results which would have confirmed a diagnosis of pancreatitis.
