The tour with George Hendry is a must for serious wine enthusiasts.
Took my wife to a tasting while we were in town from Ohio (not a wine drinker myself) and we both loved it. The tasting was very educational and we ordered a few bottles to ship back to Ohio. Will come back and recommend to friends for sure!
So glad I found this vineyard a few years ago. I've been back each time I've been in Napa, most recently for George's seminar/tour/tasting about a week ago. If you're at all interested in the science behind winemaking, this is far and away the best place to go. I learn something new each time I visit and have gained a much better appreciation for wine and the complex interactions between wine and food. It is extremely apparent that everyone associated with Hendry loves being a part of the vineyard.
The best winery tour in Napa. My wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying a very educational tour and tasting session given by Mr Hendry himself that lasted 3 hours. It started with the history of wine making in Napa Valley and ended with a wonderful and very educational tasting session that included 7 different wines.
Amazing experience, amazing wine, very reasonable prices!
