This doctor told me to come back in 5 years for my next colonoscopy. It’s been 5 years now. I’ve been trying to reach him and get a busy signal every time I try to call. Finally, I found out from a friend today that he retired. I had no idea. I was not notified and do not have a referral to another doctor. I have extensive records with Dr. Hendrix—colonoscopies, EGDs, biopsies, and a hospitalization. Now, I’m just left hanging. No doctor, no records, nothing. So frustrating. I don’t know what to do.
