David Henderson recommends $2000 testing when he knows he doesn’t want to treat you just so he can get money out of you. He shouldn’t be treating patients.
Business response:
I do at times recommend psychological testing for clients whose clinical presentation warrants clarification. Insurance companies cover the cost and I do not require the testing to be done through my office. At Four Stones, we make recommendations we believe to be best for our clients' mental health. However, there are times when a doctor and a client cannot agree on how to proceed. In these instances, it is the ethical responsibility of a physician to recommend a second opinion. Best to you!
I worked with Dr. Henderson for 2.5 years while living in Dallas. He treats patients with compassion and creates an open and honest environment that I really appreciated. His assistant is also extremely organized and easy to work with for scheduling.
Dr. David Henderson is NOT a good psychiatrist. His tone and overall attitude felt insincere, he recommended me a pill that made my whole scenario worse and (and I'm not sure if this was intentional or not) he talked way to slow taking up most of the time during the appointment. He had the knowledge, but not the care. Pick any other psychiatrist and you will most likely yield better results. I have gained no progress with him. Please don't make the same mistake that I did.
