I have lived here for over 4 years and I can Honestly say Hempfield Heights is a great place to live. Every place has its bad apples so if you are worried about that every where you go will have problem people so lets get past that. What really matters is how does the office and the maintenance respond to their people. Management changed about 2 years ago some people left and new came in.... Ever since, the people in the office have been extremely helpful and takes extreme care and reacts to problems almost instantaneously. ... read more
i.e., If you are just starting out this complex is a bad idea. The apartments are out dated and dirty. If you live under someone every time they move in their apartment a mass amount of BLACK MOLD falls from the ceiling and lands on everything. I had a brand new white coat laying out one day while I was getting ready for a date. Minutes later it was cover in black dust. Overall it was a pretty nice place.Good:Price was reasonable 450/mo for a 1br.All the tenants were friendly but most kept to themselves.Very friendly lifeguard at the pool, that is great with kids.Bad:Laundry facilities were sometimes broken.$150 "origination fee" with application, its like a security deposit but you never get it back.Management isnt very flexible, and a pain to set things up with if you have a regular 8-5 job.Hope you find this useful
