We have had the privilege of working with Tom , Krysten and the Hempen family/ team for almost ten years. They are very knowledgeable courteous patient and fair. Tom is always willing to educate and there is never ever a feeling of being upsold. Their storefront is always clean and inviting. I went into Hempen today with my wife just to look for new backing's for her earings. After looking at the earings they offered her three different options, which one of them being a free pair of silver backings if she didn't want gold. They were all extremely welcoming as soon as we walked in and very generous and kind to offer the free backings because gold can be pricey. I highly recommend Hempen and we will definitely be back. Thanks again for everything!
I wanted to change my an old ring to make a pendant and earrings with the stones. I loved the idea of supporting a local family run business. I was also comforted knowing that my piece would stay in the store and not be shipped out, as they complete the job onsite. Just another added bonus in my opinion. I never write reviews but I have never had such bad quality from a store. My girlfriend my mom and I have all purchased gifts from here, all with quality issues. I purchased a gift for my significant other, a silver locket. To this day the only silver piece of jewelry that has caused her to have a rash around her neck. My mom purchased a silver necklace for me as a gift that has broke twice now (fixed once for a charge) and I rarely wear it in the first place.
