We've come here the past 9 years and have loved it. The location can't be beat - it's convenient to the downtown area. You can explore without the drive or parking hassle. However, the last couple of times we've noticed the beds have become uncomfortable. We left a night early to avoid another sleepless night. Might be time for some new mattresses. The staff is always polite, though not always there.

I made a confirmed reservation directly through the hotel’s own website to stay for one night. A few hours later, I received a notice that my reservation was canceled without any explanation. When I called the hotel, the receptionist told me it was due to “overbooking.” I find this very disappointing and unprofessional—especially since I booked directly with the hotel and not through a third-party site. Amazingly cute little inn in the heart of Blowing Rock. Every room is themed like a cozy cabin and it's perfect.

We loved our stay here. We came up for the weekend. The room was perfect! The bed was so comfy, great linens and pillows. We loved the small touches like wine glasses and good coffee mugs. There is a gas fire pit under the gazebo that was perfect for the cool evenings. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and shopping. We love visiting Blowing Rock, it is a place we come often. The Hemlock Inn is somewhere we will come back to and recommend to others!
