Reading reviews and don't understand why Michigan medicine prolongs treatments proceedures with all the indirect staff delegateing proceedure costing patients time.. One star only because I have not even had a chance to see anyone. It has been 3 weeks and I have not received a call to be sceduled. I used to see a hematologist here, but it has been years, so now I am treated as a new patient. I called 3 weeks ago and every week since to try and schedule an appointment. I am familier with UofM appointment wait times, but never this long to just schedule something.
After being referred for some wonky lab tests, the NP stumbled over my test results, at first saying something was normal, then having to correct herself after my surprise(it has been abnormal for 3 yrs). At one point she said I probably have fibermyalga because my neuropathy was spreading. (Even though I had a literal biopsy that showed neuropathy in front of her.) Avoid the nurse practitioner at all costs. What a waste of time and $.
It’s been 2 months and I haven’t even been scheduled. You have to call and register after being referred here and then you will be told someone will call and schedule you. Never received a call. Have called them back over 10 times and just like the other reviewer said, they always say let me try to get ahold of a patient coordinator but no one is ever available. Had them leave a message for the manager about this system of scheduling, as something is obviously going on and never got a call back about that either. They are ca... read more
