RecommendedThe burgers and fries are amazing, top notch. Beyond the great food, The Helvetia Tavern has one of the friendless staffs around. It is an all around wonderful experience. This is definitely one of my top go to spot in Washington County.
Helvetia has a fantastic outdoor dining area to enjoy a beer and a jumbo burger. The friendly staff makes everyone feel welcome, whether it’s your first time our your one of the many regulars that frequently stop in.
I waited 10 minutes to be seated and after four different servers walked past me and didn’t acknowledge me standing there I seated myself. Once seated I asked for a drink menu, after waiting another 10 minutes with no service and having tables that were seated after me placing orders I left. I wasn’t able to try their food but the service was absolutely horrible!
Love their burgers and fries! I also love the outdoor seating area and country setting!

LOVE Helvetia Tavern. we ordered to go and ate in the parking lot and enjoyed the beautiful view Helvetia, maybe post how to order take out during this time. Do you call before hand? Call in order when you get there? Walk into lobby to get food?
