This company has sent multiple threatening and deceptive notices. They make it seem like you will be in violation of your reverse mortgage if you dont get their service. They even used the name of the company his reverse mortgage is through. Their name is in very small print at the bottom of the page. He has called multiple times to be taken off the list. They tell him they will and still send mailings. For elderly people this confuses them and makes them give them their money when they dont have to. Very deceptive business ... read more

I don't give them even a half of a star. 0 stars. Received a threatening letter from them. I called them to get info from them. Spoke to the rudest person I have ever spoken to in my life. Her screaming child was in the background so I could barely here what she was saying. Told me to give her my credit card info. and I said no. I told her I already have a warranty, and she said they were scamming me. I receive mail from this company weekly stating that my propertys home warranty is expiring, and I need to get coverage updated. I do not have home warranty with this company, and when I called to have my information deleted from their records, they hung up on me. I called again, and was yelled at because I asked them to stop sending me mail and to delete my records. I have no idea how they obtained my name and address. I received this final offer letter RE:HOME WARRANTY FOR REVERSE MORTGAGE MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS This letter is to inform you that the propertys home warranty, at ( MY ADDRESS) my be expiring or may have already expired.Funny thing, I live in an apartment and dont own a house so I dont have a reverse mortgage Id like to know how/where Helping Hand Home Warranty acquired my name and address. As I read all the complaints against Helping Hand Home Warranty, my story is the same. We are getting letters from them almost weekly and each one says Final Offer. Although I assumed from the beginning that this a fraudulent company and I have not responded to any of the letters, this is definitely harassment that attempts to take advantage of a certain population. I have reported them to the Attorney General and will continue to seek additional ways to stop them.

I hav4e been receiving these letters from this company for years, they all say " FINAL OFFICER or FINAL NOTICE " yet they still keep coming, they mention my Reverse Mortgage, like it is some how required to have this, and it is NOT. They even say in very small print at the bottom that "they are not affiliated with your current mortgage holder" Yet the letters just keep showing up every couple of weeks. They do work good for starting a fire in my fireplace though.

This is NOT a credible buisness. Its been 5 yrs since a member of my family passed and they are still trying to collect a home warranty under a different address with my deceased relatives name . Pure scam and harassing mail attempts. Beware and stay clear of this company .Too many different addresses and phone numbers.
