I have had great experience work with Helpers Care for our mother. A great resource, very helpful and very responsive! It as been great to work with them.
When my aunt suggested I take my mother (who is wheelchair bound and needs full care and lives in a nursing home) to Montreal for Xmas from B.C. to be with her sisters I thought she was crazy! I'm giving 5 stars to Helpers Care because these people are what you need when you are not sure of what you need.Lots of patience, lots of time to discuss your particular situation and the different options of available services. Above all, they are FLEXIBLE which is not always the case in these kinds of service. I required an assistant for 10-12 hours after recent surgery in Montreal. I tried a few service agencies online and found them unacceptable. Petra and Jackie went above and beyond in offering their support to my mother-in-law, who came to town for our wedding shortly after knee surgery. Not only did Jackie help her get ready for the events and assist her with transportation, but she also offered her wonderful company.
