My Dentist is out of town on vacation. I called this office for an emergency extraction. I explained that I've been in major pain for 4 days, and My DDS. would not be back for 6 more days. I asked/begged to be fit in. I was very casually blown off and told it would be over a week for a possible "fit in extraction".
Well, he was real cool at first when they were on 2nd street, but this time I went in, (I had not been to the dentist for a while, as I was not working good. ) I had a tooth bothering me, and he said I had a few "small" cavities, nothing that should make it hurt, but I needed the treatment where they go under my gums and clean. With the treatment, and filling the few "small" cavities, even with my dental assistance program would be $600.00. I did not have the money at the time, and I never went back. Dr. Helms is unprofessional and childish. I went to Dr. Helms to get a partial plate. He was very friendly at first, but on our last visit, he literally threw a temper tantrum on me and my wife. At first his assistant came in and asked what was going on. I told her that the partial plate that was made for me didn’t fit, the color did not match my other teeth and that they were not the shape of my old teeth.
