Awful apartment (196 Stanton) - had to move out early since the company needed to demolish the bedroom wall halfway through the lease bc it violated city fire code. Beyond that, we had a roach infestation, the ceiling leaked every time it rained, and building door system broke down for over a month. Not worth $5100/mo.
I was a tenant at 212 E 14th Street, and I really liked Helm. I believe they did a great job in responsiveness, they were very prompt and clear. Lived there for 3 years. The space was small, but over the 3 years, had a great experience with Helm. Would definitely rent from them again!
Sleazy group. Paul is lazy and forgets to confirm availability to show apartments. Then he childishly lies to everyone to try and cover his tracks. It’s incredible that a company would allow that kind of behavior.
