Best Thai food I have ever had anywhere and I have lived all over the USA. Staff are super friendly too!

This Thai Restaurant is worth the trip anytime any time you are within 50 miles of Winston OR, we have been there 2 times now and will be going back!
We have been faithful patrons of Hello Thai in Winston, but not after tonight. We went to eat with 5 adults and a child and when brought our ticket we were informed a 16% gratuity was added. The owner Donnie told our server he is doing that for all groups of 6 or more. However, it's not posted anywhere. We usually tip 20% for good service so that wasn't the issue. The issue is that the server does not get ANY of the tips she makes each night!!! Mind you, this woman has 3 kids at home and is making minimum wage. I will NEVER ... read more
READ THIS BEFORE YOU VISIT HELLO THAI. 2 years of frequenting this restaurant, love the food, reception dinner held here..... Gnroup of 6 informed no separate checks after diner and 16% gratuity charged, no exceptions. BUT WAIT, our wonderful server does not receive tips, none, ever and the tip jar at register is stuffed full! Please do not support this business.
So good. Worth the drive out to Winston! We love their pad Thai!
May have just been an off night but food was over cooked and rice was dry. Think most at our table was unimpressed.
