Made an appointment on Wednesday July 30, 2025 for my 2020 Ford Escape regarding yet another recall notice. Was told the drivers door hinges were bad & the entire door needed to be replaced. The work to be done by a body shop in Montrose. Dropped the car off on Monday, August 12, 2025 & was told it would be taken to the body shop on Wednesday or Thursday of that week & the repair time would be about 3 days. I had to drop in on the servicing department because of a problem on my truck as i was driving home to Fruita and Patrick in the servicing department got to it right away and got me on the road again in no time at all. I will be using them for future needs even though its an hour drive from my house.
Ordered a part to be installed. Service advisor told me it's actually two parts and not one and that it would take two hours to program and install a stick on numeric keypad. Only they keypad is in the box. Its not two parts. I bought one in March for a different car. I told him I didn't want it installed only programmed but he informed me that isn't an option because there is a part that needs to be installed.
