Beyond excellent to superb. He explained my condition, how the surgery might help, did not push me at all in fact wanted me to take plenty of time to think about it. It is the best thing I have done for my body. I feel so fortunate to have had such a compassion, skilled surgeon. His bedside manner was also superb and he explained why I needed certain things and what time I needed to be in the hospital. I feel like being referred to him and his also compassion and caring staff that I am now enjoying a new body and no pain.
This doctor has left husband paralyzed since May 2017 he showed no remorse when asking why. I am very upset that my husband went from living a normal life to being depressed and frustrated that he cannot move a limb. We the family will seek justice and hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. He deserves to suffer the same way we are at this time never did he have an explanation as to why he needed to perform this surgery when my husband was never in a car accident nor a fall. Worst bed side manner ever. Don't question anything he has done or tell the truth if there is still pain. He will let you have it! Embarrassed me in front of my whole family and staff and it wasn't necessary.
Dr. Heller and his entire staff are the most amazing people! The staff is kind and caring knowing very well most people would rather NOT be there. The staff communicates exceptionally well and follows up with your care. Dr. Heller treats you with caring hands and respect, even taking time away from his own family to care for you. Cannot THANK them all enough for what they do, a class act.
Dr. Heller is the most knowledgeable, professional, caring surgeon anyone could possible strive to emulate at his elite level. His bedside manner is unbelievable and beyond expectations! Dr. Heller took time from a previously scheduled engagement to just "check-up" on my care but was happy to be there for me and my family. The entire office staff and experience having brain surgery is something I would NEVER want to experience again, but if I did Dr. Heller is my guy. Sincerely, THANK YOU!
4 spinal surgeries later in 5 years under Dr Heller and staff........ I will never have another surgeon touch me except for Dr Heller! I adore him and his bedside manner.... This surgeon deserves recognition and thanks for the way he practices.... Also his assistant and office staff just wonderful!! Highly recommend highly!
Horrible bed side manner. Made my after surgery experience traumatic.
Dr. Heller was incredible. He is very knowledgable and explains things really well even if you don't ask. He is kind and patient but very efficient. I would recommend Dr. Heller to anyone who is searching for a neurosurgeon. I also did research for doctors in Seattle and Portland and I was extremely happy with going with Dr. Heller.
