Love this place for its tasty food, great community, and for their RADICAL POLITICS. My partner and I had our "no-rehearsal" dinner here the night before my big queer wedding in 2017 and all of my family, vegan, veg, and omni, everyone loved this place. They always take great care of us at Hella Vegan Eats!! To those trolls who are trying to take this place down, get out-- you don't know Oakland and you sure don't know Hella Vegan Eats. The atmosphere is spot on! Owned and operated by talented, altruistic, conscious, and loving queers who not only put their passions and love into the food and joyful environment at Hella vegan, but are also involved community members that give back to people and culture of Oakland. This food tastes as amazing as it looks. Do not miss an opportunity to have lunch with a friend there (or go solo, its super casual with a bar!) Find an excuse to check this place out.

I've followed Hella Vegan everywhere. The food trucks, the food festival stands, pop-ups, and their most recent brick-and-mortar. Always the best food, always the best staff, and forever and ever the most inviting, kind, and warm environment. Hella Vegan is hands down one of the best food establishments and spaces in the Bay Area.
