Do not rent through Helix Property Management! They treat tenants like dollar signs, not people. Their main concern is squeezing as much money out of you as possible, with no regard for fairness or transparency. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it’s important for others to know what they’re getting into. In my case, Helix was fully aware of my intent to break my lease, yet they deliberately dragged out the process just to maximize what they could charge me.
I have been a Helix tenant for about a year and a half now, appreciate their team's communication, quick response to issues, and upkeep of the property! Matt has been a huge help with questions and treats his tenants in a way that is incredibly supportive.
Matt was great helping me keep this process easy and simple. He answered all my questions. I applied and was approved that same day! The only issue I had was the listing address was incorrect(ended up being in a better location that expected) and I was a little disappointed that the flooring in the pictures was incorrect. Definitely need someone to go in there and update some of their information.
I have nothing but good experiences with Helix Property Management during my lease. They are very prompt in their communication with their tenants and Matthew was especially helpful when I needed to make roommate changes to the lease.
Helix is a great company to work with!
