I’m the parent of a 12-year-old nonverbal boy with both Down syndrome and autism. He functions at the level of a 2-year-old. I have 2 kids getting services here and honestly they love it! The staff are all friendly and accommodating. Their BCBA/staff are always willing to address any questions or concerns that may come up. I do wish there was more of a day-to-day relay such as an end of day sheet to know exactly what my kids are learning and accomplishing or lacking in. Other than that I have seen much improvement in my kids and I know it’s because of Helianthus and the great people working there.
