I went here on a groupon deal. I do not recommend. The food was overpriced and lacked flavor. Roasted red pepper soup had a nasty aftertaste. My steak was tough and bland. I will NOT be returning.
I originally gave you guys 4 stars ONLY because I hadn't tried dinner...the brunch offerings were on point...as was dinner! You guys are a true gem in the RVA food scene!
I love that Helen's has no televisions.
Slow as Molasses without the Flavor. The food lacked seasoning and flavor. The pumpkin ravioli was swimming in bland sauce. Our drinks were filled one time and left empty the rest of the time. Our waitress was pleasant but was too busy to perform her job, due to what seemed like understaffing.
Food decent, nothing to write home about. Service just ok.
