Neat place, but had to wait 15-20 minutes for a strawberry Nutella crepe. The crepe was perty good, but I got an iced carmel latte that was basically just milk....was very disappointed 🥹
Awesome crepes and great service!
I recently visited this place the day after a snowstorm. I admire the owner by having this cafe open while many places were not open! I ordered coffee and a sandwich and they were both incredible. The (what I assume to be the owner) was very nice and welcoming. He was kind to every customer and this place felt like an actual cafe because they bring your food and drinks directly to where you are sitting. Many coffee shops don’t do this! I recommend visiting this cafe!
helena's is amazing and unparalleled. i lived in france for a bit & had many crepes in many cities, but not one came even close to the delicious crepes at helena's. same with the macarons! the drinks are also perfection, especially anything chocolately. the staff are so kind & friendly. always cute drawings on the windows too. warm & cozy ambiance with a lovely view of town. absolutely must-try if you're in carlisle. when i leave carlisle i'll happily travel upwards of an hour to come back here!
