I've been developing bags under my eyes and it has made me extremely self conscious and not happy with the way I look. So, I call to make an appointment with Dr. Taylor as she had good reviews and did the Blepharoplasty procedure. Did not realize that I would have to pay $150 up front and it was non-refundable, but I did. Extremely disappointed with my results. Dr. Taylor uses outdated techniques for her breast reduction surgery and does not give patients a thorough consultation to obtain informed consent to make a decision about the surgery. If I knew the downsides to the technique she uses I would have never had surgery with her. She never showed me before and after photos of her work even though I requested those at the consult. If every doctor was as good as Dr. Taylor, the medical field would be a pleasure to work with. Meanwhile, we have Dr. Taylor, thank goodness!
InitIally after my breast reduction with Dr. Taylor everything looked great! However due to her using an outdated inferior pedicle technique, only 2 years post op my result has completely deteriorated. I wish she had educated me more about the different breast reduction techniques prior to this surgery. I recommend finding someone who does not use this technique for breast reduction surgery.
I am very pleased with the results of my surgery performed by Dr Taylor this summer, June 2021. Dr Taylor is kind, considerate and an excellent communicator. She listened carefully to the outcome I was hoping for and she explained everything I needed to know. She was very careful to set appropriate expectations. Most importantly she is a terrific surgeon. Dr. Taylor is a warm, kind, and compassionate physician. She is also forthright and kindly explained the pros and cons of all my requests. I was nervous about moving ahead with the procedure for many years. But after meeting with Dr. Taylor, I felt very comfortable, and scheduled the surgery right away. Her surgical expertise is superior and I am very happy with the results.
I can't say enough about Dr. Taylor and her wonderful staff. She performed both a brachioplasty and abdominoplasty on me, about 6 months apart. The entire experience was professional from start to finish, including the ease of making appointments, never more than a 5 minute wait, follow-up calls from the staff and Dr. Taylor personally, help in finding the correct compression garments, and more. I have had 2 breast cancers and my bought led me to a bi-lateral mastectomy in 2010. After almost 9 years the implants were not what they should be. I was treated previously at MGH and Brigham & Women's and switched over to Dr. Taylor at Mt. Auburn because of her high credentials and, once you meet her, she is so reassuring, thoughtful and, of course, highly skilled!
