Dr. Young has been my GP for over 10 years. She has been an excellent physician, shepherding me through several surgeries and coordinating with other doctors to treat my RLS. I generally can get an appointment with her on the same day I call. I send her emails with questions and gnerally get an answer the same or the next day. I highly recommend Dr. Young.
Had the worst experience with Dr. Young. I saw her on 11/13 as a new patient. I am diabetic, but have been off meds & insulin for 10 months. She said my A1C was 8.1, even though I haven't had any highs since Jan 2025. She prescribed 2mg Ozempic which I injected on 11/17. I immediately got sick & could not get out of bed. Nothing but sleep for 3 days. On 11/21 I called Dr's office and was told not to take again, & that someone would call me back with advice/instructions... crickets. I have been a patient of Dr Young's for 5 years. In that time, I've had the usual illnesses, and the unusual and scary. Dr Young was there for me, insisting that I take steps to care for myself, and was always personable and thorough. I highly recommend her.
I like Dr Young super sorry to see The Everett Clinic purchased by optumcare but I don't believe that's her fault
If I could give Dr. Helen Young zero stars I would. She accidentally gave my dad 4x the prescription strength for high blood pressure that he doesn’t even have. Now dad is hospitalized and needing blood transfusions for super low blood pressure. Avoid her at all costs.
