My mother went here for inpatient rehab after a stroke. While the facilities are great and the staff is very caring and kind, this place is otherwise pretty terrible. They are understaffed. My mother has often requested help for over and hour with no response, then she calls us and we have to call the front to get someone to check on her. As a result she is hesitant to drink water for fear of peeing on herself. Outpatient scheduling is inefficient and rude. I called to schedule for my husband after they received the faxed Rx and was on the phone for 30 minutes giving a detailed history along with insurance information, social security number and all other personal information. They told me to call back after he was discharged from his present therapy which I did. I was then informed that I needed to start all over, they removed him from the system and shredded his Rx. While my father was admitted to 1B for rehabilitation For left side paralysis with DEMENTIA/ALZHEIMERS three of the ON DUTY NURSES were witnesses to a power of attorney form with an On duty Notary working for the hospital. Social worker on UNIT was aware of the circumstances Being the daughter and next to KIN I was put last to KIN Thousands and Thousands of dollars in SURROGATE COURT in White Plains because of this facility. When COVID-19 is over hope to air this on FOX 5. SHAME ON YOU. To be continued
