Dr Cozzolino, my husband's urologist told my husband that the treatment for his prostate cancer would be 4 1/2 weeks of radiation and 1 year of hormone shots. (every 4 months). Dr. Shukla, his radiation oncologist, also said if the bone scan came out negative, that would be his treatment plan. The scan did come out negative.
