Helderberg Siding Co. put new windows throughout our house in 2006. Recently 3 of the window mechanisms stopped working. I thought that I would have to deal with the original manufacturer to get the problem fixed. I called Helderberg Siding for advice, they immediately scheduled one of their employees for a quick visit. He came over and tweaked all of the windows, easily fixing the problem and gave me helpful pointers. He was very agreeable and did not charge for the visit. Great install! Very professional and would highly recommend them for any installation. However, when I encountered a quality issue some years later and needed some window sections replaced and one window that had an issue with its mechanics, I was told "we are too busy and that's a warranty issue, contact the manufacturer." Its not like I was asking them to do it for free, I was willing to pay them to fix the issues! Very disappointed.
