I came to Heka House after being in detox for 6 weeks after being a heroin and meth addict for 15 years, also using fentanyl, PCP and anything else I had access too….having done all manner of drugs for the prior 40 years. Heka House saved my life. this place is truly outstanding and cares so much about their patients and their mental health/substance abuse. Kamil goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is feeling comfortable and getting everything they need. He is one of the most amazing caring kind people I’ve ever met. I love this place and I was so glad to call it my second home. There were fun game nights, amazing AA meetings and CODA meetings. They even had bowling and movie nights! highly recommend.
They let a patient drive off under the influence after failing a drug test. No intervention whatsoever.
When what I was doing wasn’t working for me, HEKA was there for me to see things from a different perspective. HEKA gave me structure in order to get back into a rhythm of success in my life. The people I met I learned a lot from, and the memories from the experience I will cherish forever.
