Great atmosphere and the lamb meatballs rock ! !
Great place! Great beer! Great food! My first NC brewery and really enjoyed myself here. Our server Savannah was awesome and stirred me in the right direction of where to enjoy other NC beers. Highly recommended.
SO disappointed with our service at Heist tonight. Our apps took over 30 minutes to arrive, and well after that (when our server finally checked on us), we still had to ask for plates and utensils. Had to ask several times for EVERYTHING. It was as if our server was high as a kite and completely unaware that anything was less than satisfactory. Won't return, and won't recommend Heist to anyone. Ever... Kind of embarrassed that we brought our out-of-town pal here when there are so many options in town.
So for the second year in a row, I decide to have my birthday party at one of my favorite restaurants and breweries in town, Heist. Even after they had shit on me the year before, and I had booked the front room for me and my 60+ guests. They thought it would be ok to book out half the room for a "whisky tasting" that night. Not a care in the world was shown that they had fucked up, and semi ruined my birthday celebration.
