Will only talk about one problem per visit no matter what you have going on
If you don't give him the answer he wants to hear, he berates you. (Borderline nasty). If you ask a question, he either talks down to you or demeans you. He's the only one in the room who knows anything. Real proud of telling you how smart he is and how much medical experience he has.
After seeing an ear nose and throat doctor (otolaryngologist) for loss of smell, he told me that it was because of either a virus or that I had Parkinson’s disease. I told Dr. Heilborn what the Dr. said, and he indignantly said, “you do not have Parkinson’s.” So, after moving and finding a new doctor, I found out this is one of the most common early symptoms and that I did indeed have Parkinson’s.
I was simply looking for a primary physician and a future wellness check. The visit was going well until he began to push his big pharma vaccine rhetoric on me. Talking over me when I tried to express my concerns about the vaccine. Dismissing anything I had to say regarding the facts and numbers. Discrediting every source before I could even mention them. I asked to please change the subject but insisted I didn't know anything and continued to argue. His knowledge of the facts, especially the numbers regarding the deaths, wa... read more
He is a neat guy. I like Dr. Heilborn. Glad he stayed in General Practice.
He just wanted to talk about MD/vote and how he was going to treat me better. I guess I wasn’t getting good care all the past years
I am blessed to have found Dr. Heilborn 7 years ago. He is very professional and attentive to his patients needs.. Last year, while waiting to see an endocrinologist following thyroid surgery, I became ill on the medication. He got me in right away, adjusted the medication and gave me a new plan to follow until my endo visit.. This had a profound effect on my recovery. Adding to this, his medical assistant Shannon, is always caring and makes referrals seamless. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Saw this guy twice. Initial appointment cut short because of 2 emergencies with other patients. Was told during that appointment that I was going into too much detail for the time he had. He'd never saw me before. Second appointment, has no interest in the articles I printed for him on my rare disorder, argued with me on chiropractor findings, insisted on referring me to a back specialist I have seen before and don't like, then lectures me for 5 min about taking time away from other patients.
I've been going to Dr. Heilborn for years and due to his quality of care, professionalism, common-sense, trust and personable personality, I will continue to go to him for my medical care! I hope he stays in practice for years to come, and I highly recommend him.
