Best alteration ever Best alteration in Charlottesville for sure. NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT. They are so good and fast at the same time. they have been doing the job for more than a decade, I have been their costumer for such a long time and never had a single problem with them. They know what their doing and they also know how to keep the costumers happy with their work. I would highly recommend Heidi's perfect fit to everyone in Charlottesville.
Anywhere else will be better! Do not use this company if you need your alterations to actually get done. I needed three coats and one pair of shorts and one hat altered. One of the coats I needed the next day. The coat required sewing six patches on. They sewed four of the patches correctly. This was the only thing done correctly/appropriately for my entire order. Unhappy Bride I took my three bridesmaids dresses in at the same time in early May for a mid June Wedding, for alterations. They were promised to be done within two weeks. I never received a call or any sort of notification that the dresses were done. When we went back to pick them up was told that only two of the three had been done. Heidi's TERRIBLE Fit I had my wedding dress altered for my August 2011 wedding. This was by far the worst vendor that I've ever worked with! Heidi haggled with the cost of my dress from day one, making me feel bad for having a "couture" wedding gown. The price continued to change, her customer service was terrible....I kept feeling like I was bothering her, like she was doing me a favor and not like I was paying almost $400 for alterations....she made changes to the dress without my consent and then charged me to put it back... read more
Great service -- I was impressed Found them on Google and took a pair of pants to them (side seam had unraveled and split apart). At first I was somewhat hesitant due to one or two negative reviews online. But they exceeded all my expectations. They fixed my pants on the spot -- literally in less than 10 minutes, and the price was very reasonable. I'll definitely go back! And best of all, they have customer parking in a neighborhood where street parking can be hard to find.

Heidi's Perfect Fit has been a nightmare spent over $300 on a bridesmaid dress - took it to heidi's on good recommendations. despite pinning and measuring - dress is WAAAAY too short and they threw away all of the extra fabric! :(
Good prices, nice folks I recently purchased a suit from Hechts and I needed a place to get it altered. Not only did the folks at Heidis Perfect Fit alter the suit within two days, they did a phenomenal job for less than Hechts would have done it. The total cost for trimming the pant legs, letting the pants out, and fixing the jacket sleeve length was about $45, which is very competitive.
Quick service and attention to detail This is a great tailor. Heidi does most of the work herself, and she is very precise. When you enter the shop it seems pretty small, but Heidi has several changing areas and a back area where she pins up your clothes. She will give you advice on what looks best, and she is very creative. My clothes have always been turned around on time.
