I loved my hair originally but I’ll probably never come back here and would not recommend going here. I feel like the woman who started my hair might have been the owner but the lady who started helping her was pulling the mess out of my scalp. She was unnecessarily heavy handed. You know how they start all the braids and then go back and finish? When she went back to finish she was pulling my hair hard enough to make me sit up in my chair and barely be able to hold my head. The raiders did an excellent job on my hair. They gave me exactly what I asked for. It took a while, but I was very satisfied with the quality of work and price. Will definitely book again.
I booked online to get some kinky twists. When I called the owner told me to get 5 packs of the Cuban hair. My appointment was at 9am and scheduled to end at 1pm. I was on time and did not get done until after 4pm. Not only did it take 7 hours, but I had a completely different style than what I paid my deposit for and was charged an extra $40 for the style they gave me! Not happy, and definitely not going back.
STAY AWAY. I went in for a sew-in take down, wash, and box braids. After removing my sew-in, she did NOT properly comb or detangle my natural hair before starting the braids. My hair was left severely tangled and matted. I had to spend an entire hour at a different salon just to get my hair detangled and fixed. That should never happen during a professional service. Proper detangling after a sew-in removal is basic care. Save yourself the stress and damage. Go to KT Braiding instead.
Been going here for well over ten years They have always grown my hair I won’t let anyone else do my hair. Also I would like to mention that when I get my micro’s done here it last 6 months.
