I have gone here for years, going back to their old location. While the newer building looks great the service has become really bad. My last two visits I have not even seen doctor Rocchi, but rather an intern...It is also super hard to schedule appointments with the random operators who book for them. Today I showed up for a 1030 appointment I set up over the phone two months ago and when I got here they said I have no appointment. This place has really gone down hill.
Chico Eye Center is the place to go if you want nice, friendly staff and great Eye doctors Dr. Rocci and her student doctor are very informative, friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve been with Dr Rocci for years I highly recommend her. Her student dr is lucky to be learning under her instruction.
I had a horrible experience at this office. The front office staff was unfriendly and made some errors with no apologies. I was also not provided with the correct information regarding my insurance coverage when I initally called to set-up my appointment. They had made it sound like it would all be covered (besides my co-pay) but I paid more than if I were to have gone somewhere else and paid out-of-pocket. The office is also poorly run. They had a "typo" in my prescription that caused me to order incorrect glasses. I have no idea how this is possible or why a check isn't in place. It wasn't off by a little either, we're talking negative vs positive numbers that are completely different.
