I scheduled a new patient appointment with Bagwell months ago only to find that today, on the day of the appointment, she canceled with no notification sent or option for me to reschedule. When I arrived at her office, because I went since I was never informed, I was told I could reschedule, but it would be months out (again). The reason she canceled was because she prefers new patient appointments at 10am only, and someone scheduled me for 9am. Ridiculous! Dr. Bagwell was my doctor when I was growing up and I had to find another doctor for several years. I am SO glad I was able to snag her as my Primary Dr again. She is so compassionate, will spend as much time as needed with each patient, willing to hear preferred patient options, etc. Hands down, the best. Once you become an established patient, scheduling becomes a little easier. I recommend calling the office to schedule appointments, as the MyChart app doesn't always show all options and exceptions. I've been seeing Dr. Bagwell for a few yrs.and have liked her from the beginning. The last two visits weren't about me...it was about ordering meds and test. I asked questions but she was too busy to listen and answer. I had an hour appt for physical...that consists of ears, throat, listen to my lungs and reflex of legs. I tried to ask questions, she said we'll talk about them next visit. I had questions about my health concerns, this visit. Listed on my insurance card as my pcp. Refused me an appointment. Saying not accepting new patents.
Dr. Bagwell is very friendly & knowledgeable. She stays busy because people love her. It might take a week or two to see her, but if they feel it’s an urgency, they will get you in.
