Small Town Feel This is what grocery shopping used to be about. I stop in every once in a while when I want to avoid Wegmas. I was suprised to read that they did or do not treat employees well. When ever I have been in everyone seems to like what they do. I did wait on Mrs. Hegedorn many many years ago at Sibley's and she had a little bit of an attitude.
Convienient - Great Beer Selection This is a nice independent grocery store. We tend to use to avoid going to the big W if we aren't in the mood to be with the crowd. Selection is not great but if you need a few items it is great.
Hegedorn's Inc. This family owned store has been in business longer than I can remember. It offers a hometown feeling. Small, but they have a great selection of items and their donuts are the best. Very personable staff.
Family owned and nice friendly staff This store is great. Their prices are great too. They have all the "stuff" a big store has but you get the personal attention that a small store offers. The produce department is really big and very good quality. They have a wonderful bakery and their meat department and deli are always the freshest around. They double coupons and have their own shoppers card for discounts.
Old town feel Hegedorns is a grocery that has been around for a long time. Its got the same up to date things other stores have, except the personal service is above expectation. The employees are always there to help, and most know you by name. They are there to greet you and make sure they have what you're looking for. The deli has a great selection of meats and the bakery always has fresh rolls to die for!
Good Place To Shop this store reminds me of a small town store. They are not a big name store but they treat you like your in a big brand name store. the prices are right. The best thing they have in their bakery is their pecan pie. This is the best pie I have ever had. It is not too sweet and is baked to perfection. They use large pecans. And the price is right.
