Family owned and nice friendly staff This store is great. Their prices are great too. They have all the "stuff" a big store has but you get the personal attention that a small store offers. The produce department is really big and very good quality. They have a wonderful bakery and their meat department and deli are always the freshest around. They double coupons and have their own shoppers card for discounts.
Poor customer service Today 9/9/09 I tried several times to place an order with the deli for lunches for employees. I tried calling 671-4450 for over 45 minutes but your phone kept ringing with no voice mail. I called your corporate office and that too just rang with no voice mail. I called your Empire Blvd and Hard Rd Bill Grays asking for phone line to deli but the Hard Rd manager had no idea why the phones weren't working and she had no idea how to get me thru to deli. Good Place To Shop this store reminds me of a small town store. They are not a big name store but they treat you like your in a big brand name store. the prices are right. The best thing they have in their bakery is their pecan pie. This is the best pie I have ever had. It is not too sweet and is baked to perfection. They use large pecans. And the price is right.
AWESOME OWNERS !!! I had worked for Hegedorns store for over 2 years! I absolutely LOVE Mr & Mrs Hegedorn!! They are absolutely the best people to work for. As far as another persons' comment on attitude, I believe EVERY store world wide, has some employees with attitude.. sometimes, someones' speaking is taken as an attitude when the customer does not the attention or answer they want! Best store I ever shopped at I have epilepsy and cannot drive anymore. Hegedorn's delivers my groceries whenever I need them. If they don't have something on my list I email to them, they call me regarding a replacement. Their store brand, SureFine, is great. Their prices are great. Their employees are great. They are the greatest! Would recommend them to everyone.
Convenient Food store Hegedorns is a nice change from the huge food markets in the area. It has neighborhood feel and friendly young workers. You don't get lost in the store and yet they have a good selection.
Family Owned Grocery Store Hegedorns has been a fixture in Webster for many many years. I stop in occasionally to pick up some items and find the staff to be very friendly and helpfu. The store is always clean and well stocked.
Hegedorn's Grocery Store Hegedorn's is a great place to find all your basic grocery needs and to avoid the larger chain grocery stores. I have used their floral shop many times - they do a great job at a very reasonable price. They also have a great coffee shop if you need to find a morning coffee stop.
